Overview

Where the list comes from

Which private jet companies operate in Canada?

Our Canada list has 281 licensed operators. By aircraft we list, the largest are Mustang Helicopters, Skyservice Business Aviation, Yellowhead Helicopters, Alpine Helicopters, Airsprint and Airborne Energy Solutions.

The list is built from the Canadian Transportation Agency's register of air carrier licences as read on 11 September 2026, matched to aircraft on Transport Canada's Canadian Civil Aircraft Register. The licence numbers shown are CTA licences, not Transport Canada certificate numbers.

The order below is by the number of aircraft we list for each operator. It is not a ranking of quality. The list includes helicopter and seaplane operators as well as aeroplane operators. See how we choose operators on our our operators page, or browse all Canadian operators.

Aircraft we list is the count on our own operator list, not necessarily the operator's full fleet. Where an operator holds more than one CTA licence, for example for domestic and international services, all are shown. The other 251 operators are on our operators page.

How we use the list

When you ask for a quote, we ask operators with a suitable aircraft for your route and dates. The operator's name, its Transport Canada certificate and its CTA licence appear on the quote. For flights between two Canadian cities, only a Canadian operator can be licensed.

To check any operator yourself, read Is my flight legal?. For the cost side, read Canada charter taxes and fees.
