Simpler than the airport.
Chartering in the US means renting a whole aircraft from an FAA Part 135 carrier, flown on your schedule from a private terminal (FBO).
You pay for the aircraft, not the seat, so a full light jet often costs less per person than you expect. Prices depend on flight time, where the aircraft is based and Federal excise tax.
Arrive 30 minutes before departure. There is no queue for security, no gate and no boarding call; your crew meets you at the aircraft.
Altivo Jets is a broker: we compare operators, check their certificates and safety record, and put the operator's name on your quote. We act as your agent under DOT Part 295.
One-way flights at a fraction of the price.
No empty legs are listed right now. Leave your email and we will tell you as soon as an operator posts one in the US.

Questions, answered
Still deciding? A charter specialist will talk you through aircraft, airports and price, with no obligation.
Ask a specialistHow much does it cost to charter a private jet?+
Light jets run about $5.5k to $9.8k per hour and heavy jets $15.1k to $18.5k, plus 7.5% federal excise tax and segment fees.
Are you a broker or an operator?+
We are an air charter broker. Every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 air carrier, named on your quote.
Can I fly one way?+
Yes. Empty legs make one-way trips far cheaper when dates are flexible.
How far ahead should I book?+
Same-day is often possible. Holidays, the Super Bowl and Art Basel weeks need more notice.
Do I need ID to fly private?+
Yes, a government photo ID for domestic trips and a passport for international ones.
What is an FBO?+
A fixed-base operator: the private terminal where you check in, park and board.
