We are the broker, they are the airline
Altivo Jets is an air charter broker, not an air carrier. Every charter we arrange is flown by an FAA Part 135 or Part 121 air carrier, or a properly licensed foreign air carrier, that holds operational control of the flight and is responsible for its crew, maintenance and safety.
How we check an operator
Before we quote an aircraft, we check that the operator holds a current Part 135 (or Part 121) certificate and that the aircraft is listed on its operations specifications. Before you sign, we ask for the operator's insurance certificate, and we show third-party safety audit ratings such as ARGUS or Wyvern when the operator holds them.
You always know who flies you
The operating carrier's company name and any trade name appear on your quote and in your charter agreement. You can ask us, or the operator, for a copy of its certificate before you fly.
The FAA advises charter customers to ask to see the operator's certificate and to be wary of anyone who asks them to take operational control of a flight or who does not charge federal excise tax. We follow the same rules.
