We are the broker, they are the airline
Altivo Jets does not own or operate aircraft. Every UK charter we arrange is flown by the holder of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), or by a properly licensed foreign operator for flights it is permitted to fly. The operator holds operational control of the flight and is responsible for its crew, maintenance and safety.
How we check an operator
Before we quote an aircraft, we check that the operator appears on the CAA's published list of UK aeroplane and helicopter AOC holders, under its full company name. Before you sign, we ask the operator for the aircraft's insurance certificate, and we show third-party safety audit ratings such as ARGUS or WYVERN when the operator holds them. Our operator pages show each company's AOC number, base and aircraft, taken from the CAA list.
You always know who flies you
The operator's company name and any trade name appear on your quote and in your charter agreement. The CAA says that by law you must be told the operator's name, and advises asking for the pilot's name and qualifications. You can ask us, or the operator, for these before you fly.
Browse every operator we list on our UK charter operators page, or read Is my flight legal? to check any operator yourself.
