What a quote includes
A charter quote is for the whole aircraft, not per seat. It includes the aircraft, the crew, fuel, the flying time of your trip and any positioning flight needed to bring the aircraft to you or take it home. Our own fee is built into the total; we do not add a separate booking charge.
What can be extra
Some costs depend on the trip and are listed on the quote before you sign: airport landing, parking and handling charges, crew overnight stays and waiting days on multi-day trips, out-of-hours charges, permits for some international flights, special catering, de-icing in winter and in-flight Wi-Fi where available.
Taxes
Air Passenger Duty applies per passenger on departures from UK airports in aircraft of 5.7 tonnes or more. Most private jets pay the standard rate today, and aircraft of 20 tonnes or more with fewer than 19 seats pay the higher rate. VAT applies at 20% to domestic flights in aircraft with fewer than 10 seats; international flights are zero-rated. Both are shown as separate lines on your quote. Our guide to UK charter taxes and fees has the current rates.
Estimates on this website
Prices shown on this website, in the cost calculator and in the chat are estimates for planning, based on typical hourly rates for each jet size, such as £3,500 to £5,500 per hour for a light jet. Your quote is the price for your dates, aircraft and route, and it is the only price that counts.
