  3. 03
    Fly

Arrive 30 minutes before departure at the private terminal. Your crew handles the rest.

Charter, explained

What you are actually buying.

A charter is a whole aircraft, crew included, flying the trip you design.

You choose the departure time, the airport and who comes along. The aircraft waits for you, not the other way round.

Pricing combines flight hours, positioning, airport fees and Federal excise tax. Same-day returns are usually cheaper than two one-way trips.

Empty legs, jet cards and memberships are alternatives for flexible or frequent flyers; we explain each in our guides.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still deciding? A charter specialist will talk you through aircraft, airports and price, with no obligation.

Ask a specialist
What is the difference between charter and a jet card?+

Charter is booked trip by trip; a jet card is prepaid hours at fixed rates.

Can I bring pets?+

Most operators allow pets in the cabin. Tell us when you quote.

How much luggage can I take?+

It depends on the aircraft. Light jets suit carry-on and a few bags; super-midsize and larger take golf bags and skis.

How late can I change my plans?+

Usually up to a few hours before departure, subject to crew duty limits and the operator's terms.

Is there a daily minimum?+

Many operators charge a minimum of 1.5 to 2 flight hours per day, shown on the quote.

Can I pick a specific aircraft?+

Yes. Ask for a model or category and we compare operators that fly it.
