Safety

How charter safety works, and what we check before you fly.

Who is responsible

The operator holds operational control and answers to the Federal Aviation Administration for its crew training, maintenance and flight operations under Part 135 or Part 121.

What we check

We only quote certificated air carriers with the aircraft on their operations specifications, we show ARGUS or Wyvern audit ratings when the operator holds them, and we ask for the insurance certificate before you sign.

Weather and the crew's decision

The pilot in command has the final word on whether a flight goes ahead. Flights can be delayed, rerouted or cancelled for weather or safety, especially helicopter flights in the hills. We will never ask a crew to fly when they judge it unsafe.
