Safety

How charter safety works, and what we check before you fly.

Who is responsible

The operator holds operational control and answers to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for its crew, maintenance and flight operations. In February 2026 DGCA tightened its rules for non-scheduled operators, including requirements to publish information on aircraft age, maintenance and pilot experience.

What we check

We only quote operators on DGCA's published NSOP list and aircraft registered to their permit, and we ask for the aircraft's insurance certificate before you sign.

Weather and the crew's decision

The pilot in command has the final word on whether a flight goes ahead. Flights can be delayed, rerouted or cancelled for weather or safety, especially helicopter flights in the hills. We will never ask a crew to fly when they judge it unsafe.
