How the trip works
Most land at Zurich, about 90 minutes from Davos by road. Dübendorf opens to business aviation for Forum passengers, Samedan is the nearest airport at about 65 km, and Friedrichshafen in Germany is a slot-free option about 90 minutes away. A helicopter from Zurich to the Stilli helipad in Davos takes 30 to 35 minutes.
During the Forum, Zurich limits business aircraft without approved parking to about two to three hours on the ground, and it cannot be used as an alternate. Planners advise starting on parking right after the previous Forum ends.
Approved schedules are fixed: changes to arrival time, aircraft type or ground time can void the approval. Hotels in Zurich and Davos sell out early, and winter roads can lengthen every transfer.
Helicopter transfers depend on the weather, so we always hold a car as the fallback. See our Zurich page for routes and estimates.
