Overview

How event travel works in Mexico

Which airport do private jets use for Mexico City events?

Toluca (MMTO). Universal Weather calls it the main and realistically only option for private aircraft in the Mexico City area, because Mexico City International is closed to general aviation except for official government business.

Mexico's event weekends land on airports that are already busy. Parking and hangars at Toluca run short on Grand Prix weekend, and Los Cabos is among the busiest business aviation airports in the country in peak season.

Every international arrival clears customs, immigration and quarantine in Mexico, even on a short stop, and at Toluca that can take up to two hours. Build that into the plan.

We book the aircraft, the airport and the ground plan, with the operator named on your quote. See private jet charter and helicopter charter for the wider picture.
