How the trip works
Fly to Nice Côte d'Azur, then take a helicopter to the Monaco heliport at Fontvieille, about seven minutes. Monacair's scheduled line starts from €195 a seat (indicative); a private helicopter carries the whole group.
Monaco comes less than two weeks after Cannes, and Nice does not reset in between. In 2026, a stand guaranteed by your ground handler was the condition for landing at all.
Book the jet, the parking at Nice and the helicopter together, as soon as your dates are fixed. Our Nice page shows routes and estimates by jet size.
Monacair flies the Nice to Monaco line all year to the Monaco heliport (LNMC), and private helicopters fly the same route, timed to your jet's arrival.

These rules were published in a supplement to the French AIP for the 2026 race. The 2027 supplement will be issued nearer the event.
- Only operators with an aircraft stand guaranteed by their ground handler for the whole stop were authorised to land.
- From 22:00 UTC on 4 June to 22:00 UTC on 8 June 2026, VFR arrivals and departures and training flights were not allowed at Nice.
- IFR repositioning between Nice and Cannes-Mandelieu was not allowed from 4 to 8 June 2026.
- Every helicopter movement at Nice needed prior authorisation through a ground handler from 4 to 8 June 2026.
- Slots were not flexible: the flight plan had to match the approved slot exactly.
