Overview

How the trip works

Where do private jets land for the Jeddah E-Prix?

At King Abdulaziz International (OEJN), open 24 hours with no slots or prior permission needed for general aviation. The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is about 15 km away, 20 to 45 minutes by car depending on traffic.

Saudi Arabia's Formula E round ran six times at Diriyah, near Riyadh, between 2018 and 2024. It now uses the Jeddah Corniche Circuit on the Red Sea, the track Formula 1 also races on, and in December 2026 Jeddah opens a Formula E season for the first time.

Rounds 1 and 2 of Season 13 run under floodlights on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December 2026 and are planned as the race debut of the Gen4 car. The last edition was a double-header in February 2026, with the second race on 14 February.

In August 2026 Formula E said Jeddah remained the plan despite the security situation in the region. If the races were postponed, they would move to a later date agreed with the Saudi authorities and the season would open in Mexico City on 16 January 2027, so keep the trip flexible. Ask a specialist
When is the Jeddah E-Prix?+

Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December 2026, a night double-header at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit that opens the 2026 to 2027 Formula E season.

Is there still a Diriyah E-Prix?+

Not on the current calendar. Saudi Arabia's Formula E round ran at Diriyah six times between 2018 and 2024; the Season 13 calendar lists Jeddah as the only Saudi round.

Could the race be postponed?+

Formula E said in August 2026 that Jeddah remained the plan. A postponement would move the races to a later date agreed with the Saudi authorities, and Mexico City would open the season on 16 January 2027.

When should my jet arrive?+

Customs and immigration at Jeddah were reported to work Sunday to Thursday only in 2025, and parking is limited to three days, so arriving on Thursday 17 and leaving on Sunday 20 December fits both. The operator confirms the current hours.
