Overview

How the trip works

Which airport is closest to Yas Marina for a private jet?

Al Bateen Executive Airport, the first dedicated executive aviation hub in the Middle East and North Africa, is about 15 minutes from Yas Island. Zayed International, about 30 minutes from the circuit, has full business aviation support but can be congested at peak times. Both are open 24 hours.

Most business aircraft arrive on the Friday or Saturday, and in 2025 about 80 percent of them left right after the Sunday race. The departure wave runs from Sunday evening into Monday morning.

Ask for parking in advance at either airport, and carry an original fuel release document: it is mandatory for both Abu Dhabi airports. Crew hotels ran at about $350 to $400 a night during the 2025 race.

Al Bateen takes aircraft up to Boeing 757-200 and 767-200 size. From Dubai, it is about 55 minutes by road. See our Abu Dhabi page for routes and estimates.
