Art Dubai returns to Madinat Jumeirah in April 2027, with preview days on 7 and 8 April and the fair from 9 to 11 April. Al Maktoum International is about 25 minutes by road from the Jumeirah hotel area.

How the trip works
Al Maktoum International (DWC) suits most private flights: slots are required but usually available, parking is not restricted, and it is about 25 minutes by road to the Jumeirah hotel area, where Madinat Jumeirah stands. Dubai International is closer to the city centre, but every movement needs a slot and parking is restricted.
Art Dubai, founded in 2007, is an international art fair held each spring at Madinat Jumeirah. The 2025 edition drew over 30,000 visitors, including nearly 100 visiting museums and institutions. In 2026 the regional conflict moved the fair from April to May in a smaller format, and many galleries deferred to 2027.
The two preview days come before the public fair days, so arrive by 6 April if you want the opening. At Dubai International, peak-hour slots can be hard to get, so request them as soon as the schedule is fixed.
About 70 percent of Dubai's business aviation now uses Al Maktoum, where DC Aviation Al-Futtaim, Jetex and ExecuJet run private terminals, and ExecuJet clears customs and immigration in its building. See our Dubai page for routes and estimates.

When to book
- UAE landing permits for private flights normally need at least four business days' notice; shorter notice is at the authority's discretion.
- On a charter, the operator's air operator certificate must be on board for Dubai and Sharjah.
- For a stay across the whole fair, park at Al Maktoum, which has no parking restrictions. Book the car to Madinat Jumeirah with the jet.
