How the trip works
Al Maktoum International (DWC), about 14 km away in a straight line, against about 32 km for Dubai International. Al Maktoum handles about 70 percent of Dubai's business aviation, slots are usually available and parking is not restricted.
The DP World Tour Championship has closed the season in Dubai since 2009. The field is the top 50 in the DP World Tour Rankings, and the 2025 edition paid $10 million, won by Matt Fitzpatrick in a playoff against Rory McIlroy.
Jumeirah Golf Estates is in Me'aisem, along the E 311 road, with its own Dubai Metro station on the Red Line. Both courses, Earth and Fire, are Greg Norman designs, and the venue holds the tournament through 2031.
In 2027 the tournament sits between two other events: the Abu Dhabi Championship at Yas Links from 4 to 7 November, and the Dubai Airshow, which opens at Al Maktoum on 15 November, the day after the final round. Book parking for the full stay as soon as dates are fixed. See our Dubai page for routes and estimates.
