How the trip works
Milan Linate (LIML), about 20 km from Monza, open 24 hours and with no slots needed for business aviation on race weekend. Parking must be pre-booked. Bergamo (about 30 km) and Malpensa (about 55 km) are the alternatives.
Monza draws more than 300,000 spectators across the weekend, and the roads around the park fill early. The jet leg is easy; parking and the last few kilometres need planning.
Business aviation planners stress that an approved landing does not guarantee a multi-day stay: parking is booked separately, and if none is left the aircraft drops you and repositions. Choose the alternate before you fly.
Helicopter transfers from the airports to the circuit may be possible but demand is high, so book early; transfers from city-centre locations are not available. Track parking is very limited, so a pre-booked car and driver is the usual plan. See private jet charter to Milan for the airports.
