Private jet to Milan Fashion Week
Milan holds four fashion weeks in 2027: men's in January and June, women's from 23 February to 1 March and from 21 to 27 September. Jets land at Linate, about 10 km from the city centre, or Malpensa.

How the trip works
Milan Linate (LIML), about 10 km and 10 minutes by car from the city centre, is closer to downtown Milan and often the business aviation choice. Malpensa (LIMC), about 45 km out, takes wide-body jets and needs no slots or prior permission. Parking at both must be pre-arranged.
Fashion week runs in the city rather than at a fair, so the airport closest to downtown Milan usually wins. The harder part is the hotel and the car, not the jet.
For the February 2026 women's week, handlers did not expect general aviation parking to be a problem at Linate or Malpensa, but advised confirming parking and services early. Preferred hotels in central Milan may sell out and public taxis have long waits, so pre-book a car with driver.
Linate is not a transit airport: passengers from outside Schengen clear police and customs in the terminal, not at the aircraft, and cars are not allowed planeside. Long stays cost more, as since July 2025 Linate charges up to €1.09 per tonne per hour for aircraft parked over 72 hours. See private jet charter to Milan for the airports.

How to plan fashion week
- 01Pick the week
Women's weeks run 23 February to 1 March and 21 to 27 September 2027; men's weeks run 15 to 19 January and 18 to 22 June.
- 02Choose the airport
Linate for downtown Milan; Malpensa for larger jets or when you want no slot or permission process.
- 03Confirm parking early
Parking was not expected to be tight in February 2026, but handlers still advise confirming it and services as early as possible.
- 04Book the car and hotel
Pre-book a car with driver, as taxis have long waits. Chain hotels next to the Linate and Malpensa terminals are the fallback if central Milan is full.
