How the trip works
Fly to Venice Marco Polo (LIPZ), where a water taxi terminal sits just outside the general aviation facilities, then cross the lagoon to the Lido. Marco Polo needs prior permission and limits parking to 24 hours during the festival.
The festival is on the Lido, an island across the lagoon, so the last leg is by boat. Marco Polo is the gateway, and its parking rules shape the trip.
Parking requests are handled in the order they arrive, and late requests may only get a quick turn. Handling details are due 36 hours before arrival. For a longer stay, plan for the jet to drop you and reposition; Milan Linate is the option when parking certainty matters more than distance.
