How the trip works
The venue has not been announced. The 2025 and 2026 finals were both played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, served by Ahmedabad airport (VAAH) and its 3,505 m runway. This page covers the season until the 2027 schedule is published.
In June 2026 BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said the board would try to start IPL 2027 by 10 March and end it by 15 May, to avoid late-season weather disruption; the fixtures are not out yet. The 2026 season is the best guide: 74 matches at 13 venues from Dharamshala to Chennai, and a final in Ahmedabad on 31 May.
Following a team means moving between host cities at short notice. A jet repositioned between host cities saves the airline schedule, and our empty legs page lists one-way flights that sometimes match match days.
For a group of fans or a corporate box, a midsize jet or a group charter moves everyone together. Ahmedabad requires slots and handling for private flights, so we book both with the aircraft. See Ahmedabad for routes to the stadium city that hosted the last two finals.
